Fall Spice Granola

Recipe:

  • 2 1/2 C GF Oats
  • 1 C Walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Flax Meal
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 Pear or Apple Butter
  • 6 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 C Coconut oil

Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and stir well. In a microwave safe bowl, combine coconut oil and maple syrup and heat until coconut oil is melted. Pour over dry mix. Add pear/apple butter and stir together until all dry ingredients are well coated.

Pour onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes to prevent burning. Remove from oven before edges are overcooked. Cool completely and break into large chunks. Store in an airtight container.
